Luke P. Scamardo, II, M.D. - Dr. Scamardo is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians who has been with CHI St. Joseph Health since 2016. Dr. Scamardo opened his practice in Navasota in September of 1980. Dr. Scamardo, a native of Marlin, Texas, graduated from Rice University – Houston in June, 1973. He attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and received his Medical Doctor degree in June 1976. He completed his internship and internal medicine residency program at the Baylor College of Medicine, graduating in July 1980. Dr. Scamardo is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Scamardo opened his office at Navasota Medical Center on September 1, 1980. He and his wife, Susan, have four children. Dr. Scamardo is a dedicated member of Ducks Unlimited and enjoys hunting, attending the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, all collegiate sports, especially “March Madness” basketball. He also enjoys music and traveling with his family.
C.H. Prihoda, Jr., M.D. - Dr. Prihoda is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and a graduate of Texas A&M University '76 who has been with CHI St. Joseph Health since 2016. Dr. Prihoda, was born in Beaumont, Texas, and lived in various cities along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast while growing up. He attended Louisiana State University Medical School-Shreveport and received his Medical Doctor degree in June 1980. Dr. Prihoda completed his internship and residency program in family practice at the University of Texas Southwest Memorial Hospital System-Houston graduating in June 1983. Dr. Prihoda joined Navasota Medical Center on August 1, 1983. He and his wife, Sheilah (a Navasota native) have three daughters. Dr. Prihoda enjoys hunting, fishing and traveling with family and friends.
Pollachi Selvakumarraj, M.D. - Dr. Selva began his practice in Navasota in December of 2000. He was born in India and received his Medical Doctor degree from Madras Medical College in Madras, India in January, 1991. Dr. Selva completed his internship and residency program at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburg, PA graduating in June, 1997. Prior to coming to Navasota, he worked at St. Francis Central Hospital-Doctors Office in Butler, PA, from July 1997 to November 2000. Dr. Selva is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Selva joined Navasota Medical Center on December 1, 2000. He and his wife Sumana, have two children. He enjoys playing golf, reading fiction and spending time with his family.
