Employee Giving Campaign

Through our Employee Giving Campaign, CHI St. Joseph Health team members have the opportunity to financially contribute to projects that further the healing mission of the Sisters of St. Francis here in the Brazos Valley. Team members have the option of choosing which projects their donations will support.

Foundation Initiatives:

The CHI St. Joseph Health Foundation is focused on two vital and patient-centered initiatives for this fiscal year. Your generosity will support equipment for these initiatives and help further our mission of service.

Advancing Technology and Saving Lives:

3D mammography is the standard of care for breast cancer screenings, delivering fewer false-positive results and detecting breast cancer in earlier stages compared to traditional mammography machines. This early detections saves lives, and the purchase of the 3D Tomosynthesis Unit will allow CHI St. Joseph Health to better serve the needs of the women in the Brazos Valley.

Patient Outcomes First:

Your help will allow us to purchase a da Vinci XI Surgical Robot. The da Vinci XI’s capabilities extend further and accommodate a larger range of surgeries than previous da Vinci models. With da Vinci, more patients heal faster and with significantly less post-surgical infections, complications, and pain while experiencing shorter hospital stays. Patients can return to their lives more quickly, and the need for post-surgical pain medication is greatly reduced.

Brazos Health Resource Center:

The center assists patients with non-medical needs, helping them avoid additional injury or illness and removing barriers to full recovery.

Mission Integration:

Mission integration supports the Sisters’ tradition of healing the whole patient. These traditions include providing inspirational and faith-filled reminders in our facilities, aiding training and development of our spiritual care team, sharing the Sisters’ mission with team members who visit The Sisters of Sylvania in Ohio, and assuring the continual focus of the Sisters’ mission of healthcare ministry.

Employee Development:

These funds are used for training and continuing education for team members, ensuring they are able to provide the best care to our patients.
