Your Primary Care Physician is your vital connection to all other medical doctors and specialists. Therefore, choosing the right primary care doctor for you and your family is very important. A good doctor sees you as a whole person—mind, body and soul, with friends and family who love and depend on you—and will help you maintain your health, listen to your concerns, and connect you with the best resources, therapists, and or specialists when you need them.
CHI St. Joseph Health continues to develop our network of highly skilled physicians in every major discipline—Cardiology, ENT, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, etc.—and at the center, we’ve built an impressive alliance of primary care doctors who’ll do everything in their power to help you stay as healthy as possible.
Your CHI St. Joseph Health Primary Care Physician has the resources you need to stay healthy this cold and flu season. Make an appointment to get this year’s flu vaccine, and talk to your doctor about additional steps you can take to keep your family healthy.
Clinics Offering Extended Hours:
You may have heard that the flu has increased tremendously in our area. Our emergency departments, express care locations and primary care clinics are very busy, but we are still accepting patients. If you are experiencing flu like symptoms, you can make an appointment at one of our primary care clinics or use one of our Express Care locations. Several of our clinics are offering extended hours this week and next week.
CHI St. Joseph Health primary care physicians are committed to helping you maintain good health through education, personal communication and the latest developments in health care.
All of our physicians are board-certified, have convenient office hours, offer same-day appointments, and work closely with our Express Care providers for the times when you just can't make it to their office. Additionally, lab and imaging services are onsite or nearby each location.
The National Center for Quality Assurance has recognized several CHI St. Joseph Health practices as Patient Centered Medical Homes. This designation is awarded to primary care practices for adhering to the standards of whole person care, which include quality improvement practices, offering support for chronic disease management, and utilizing the electronic medical record to improve patient care. The rigorous standards affect many departments and require that the whole team work together to achieve this high honor. There are three levels of recognition, with 3 being the highest. At this time, five CHI St. Joseph Health clinics have been recognized as Level II Patient Centered Medical Homes. We are working towards recognition for three additional primary care clinics by the end of 2016.
To make each office, lab and hospital visit smoother for you, we use an electronic medical record system that ensures secure, immediate access to your family's medical history.
Everything we do is about caring for you like family.
