Procedure: Two Total Knee Replacements
Surgeon: Dr. Mark Riley
A: Knee pain was keeping me from doing what I needed to do. It was pretty bad. There was constant pain. I could work, but nothing more, and at work, they had to make special arrangements for me. I really wasn’t comfortable with that at all.
A: CHI St. Joseph Health has a special joint replacement wing. Joint surgery is their expertise and they know exactly what they’re doing. I felt so much better knowing that. And the nurses took an interest in my family, making sure they were informed and taken care of. That was important to me. They are compassionate and caring people.
When it came time to go home I didn’t have to do much. They set my follow-up appointment and physical therapy appointment too! Once I was home, they called to see if I had any questions or problems. I really appreciated the way they supported me through the experience.
Dr. Riley is great! He slows down and listens to me, and always answers my questions without hesitation. I love that about him!
A: After surgery I had pain relief right away, and now I have no pain at all! I can enjoy life again. I can do things with my family, including attending my granddaughter’s gymnastics events – and that’s something I was missing out on before my knee replacement. It is so worth it!
A: I most definitely recommend Dr. Riley and Joint University. I really like them! There’s no reason to wait! It was so easy I couldn’t believe it!
