CHI St. Joseph Health named Mary Tomkivits Executive Director of Clinical Support Services in August, 2016.
In her role, Mary is responsible for Respiratory Therapy; Sleep; Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy; Cardiac Rehab; Wound Care; Food and Nutrition Services; Athletic Training and Multidisciplinary Data Reporting.
Mary also shares oversite of multiple non-nursing support and clinical service departments within CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital, including Lab, Imaging, Emergency Medical Services, Security, Plant Operations, Clinical Engineering, Maintenance and Construction and Environmental Services with COO Ricardo Diaz.
Mary works closely with current directors of each of these functions to ensure all areas are working to support our organizational goals and objectives, implementing best practices and elevating the standard of services.
Bringing more than two years of operational and business management to her role, as well as a proven track record of improving outpatient satisfaction and patient turn-around time in our Lab and Wound Care Departments, Mary previously served as Operations Manager over Laboratory Outreach and Wound Care.
Mary has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Texas A&M University.
