CHI St. Joseph Health named Rick Napper as Chief Executive Officer in November, 2015. As CEO, Rick is responsible for operational leadership of CHI St. Joseph Health, as well as advancement of our market’s strategic initiatives, working closely with Texas Division and National leadership.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Sister Penny Dunn Vice President, Mission Integration in 2011. Sister Penny is responsible for strengthening our legacy, Mission, values and Catholic identity throughout the health care system and in partnership with the wider community. She also continues to develop the understanding and implications of the Ethical and Religious Directives of Catholic Health Care Services, which promote and protect the truths of the Catholic faith as those truths are brought to bear on concrete issues in health care.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Ricardo Diaz Chief Operating Officer in January, 2015. Managing all acute care operations, Ricardo is responsible for operational supervision and support to improve efficiency and effectiveness in our hospitals. As COO, Ricardo leads all clinical and non-clinical support systems to achieve excellence in patient satisfaction, team member engagement, physician engagement, financial, quality and patient safety targets.
Beverly, who has served at CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital for over 23 years, is responsible for enhancing clinical outcomes by establishing a culture of systemness collaboration with key stakeholders. For the last nearly two decades, Beverly has led several departments, including multiple nursing departments, Transfer Center, Centralized Patient Transport, House Supervisors, Staffing Office and Emergency Department Call Panel Program with oversight for managers in Trauma, Stroke, Chest Pain Center, Emergency Management and Air Medical.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Kathy De Figueiredo Information Technology Services Site Director in July, 2015. Bringing more than 20 years of health care experience and a nursing background to her role, Kathy is dedicated to optimizing IT infrastructure and solutions to elevate delivery of quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with senior leaders at all levels of our organization.
Bringing more than 10 years of experience in healthcare finance and strategy to his role, Donovan is responsible for creating the annual Integrated Strategic Plan as well as spearheading business development, physician relations and board coordination. Donovan also has oversight of the CHI St. Joseph Health Foundation.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Sam J. Fulton Vice President, Physician Practice in November, 2014. Sam brings more than 16 years of experience with physician practices, leading a private revenue cycle company.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Daniel Goggin as its Chief Financial Officer in January, 2013. Bringing more than 25 years of experience in health care financial and operational leadership, Dan is responsible for ensuring sound financial management of our organization and responsible stewardship of our resources.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Marybeth Murphy Regional Administrator of Rural Hospitals in January, 2017. In her current role, Marybeth is responsible for operations of our four rural hospitals – Grimes, Madison, Burleson and Bellville.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Dr. Kia Parsi Chief Medical Officer in July, 2016. As CMO, Dr. Parsi is responsible for providing physician oversight for the provision of care at our acute and ambulatory points of access, working closely with Dr. Erin Fleener, Chief Medical Officer for the CHI St. Joseph Health Medical Group.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Melissa Shay Vice President of Marketing and Communications in January, 2014 and Vice President for Organizational Excellence in October, 2016. As Vice President of Organizational Engagement, Melissa is leveraging her more than 15 years of health care experience, engaging diverse stakeholders in our Mission and strategy to spearhead the cultural shift needed to further operationalize Performance Improvement across our health care ministry.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Kyle Sims Vice President, Post-Acute Care in March, 2013. Bringing over 25 years of experience in senior living including nearly a decade as a healthcare administrator and 15 years as a social services director and consultant, Kyle oversees Post-Acute services across CHI St. Joseph Health, in our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Rehabilitation facilities in Bryan and Caldwell.
CHI St. Joseph Health named Mary Tomkivits Executive Director of Clinical Support Services in August, 2016. In her role, Mary is responsible for Respiratory Therapy; Sleep; Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy; Cardiac Rehab; Wound Care; Food and Nutrition Services; Athletic Training and Multidisciplinary Data Reporting.
